Singapore Future Innovators Junior Tour: Kincoppal-Rose Bay with Student Horizons

The future came to life in Singapore as students in years 6, 7 and 8 from Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart, Sydney, embarked on an unforgettable Future Innovators Tour with Student Horizons. Built around experiential learning and real-world connection, this tour went far beyond sightseeing — it was designed to challenge thinking, spark curiosity, and show students what their futures could look like on a global stage.

At Student Horizons, we believe the most powerful learning happens through experience, and from the moment this group arrived, they were fully immersed.

Bringing Classroom Learning to Life

A highlight was the visit to Kok Fah Technology Farm, where students explored how innovation is transforming agriculture. Moving beyond theory, they saw how technology is driving sustainability and food production, bringing classroom concepts to life in a meaningful way.

This continued at a Life Science Incubator, where students met and spoke with female scientists leading cutting-edge research. These conversations were both insightful and empowering, reinforcing the idea that future pathways in STEM are not only possible, but within reach — “if you can see it, you can be it.”

Building Global Connections

A unique highlight of the tour was the visit to the Australian International School (AIS) in Singapore. The students participated in a robotics session, working alongside their peers to solve challenges and share ideas. This exchange fostered international connection and demonstrated how collaborative learning can spark creativity, reflecting a core Student Horizons value: building bridges and communities through shared experiences. It was amazing to experience a small glimpse of Australia in Singapore.

Where Innovation Meets Inspiration

At the ArtScience Museum, students experienced the intersection of creativity and technology through immersive exhibits and an interactive workshop. Encouraged to think critically and engage actively, they explored innovation in a hands-on environment, using games to learn how to use AI effectively.

Across the tour, students took part in a wide range of experiences that demonstrated how innovation, robotics, and technology are shaping the modern world. They saw how STEM, sustainability, and creative problem-solving connect in real, practical settings.

This was brought to life at Weston Robot, where students met robot dogs and humanoid robots up close. Engaging directly with emerging technologies gave them valuable insight into industries that are rapidly evolving.

Exploring Science in Action

The learning journey continued at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum and through a DNA workshop at the Singapore Science Centre, where complex scientific ideas became interactive and memorable.

At the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Centre Singapore, students explored the future of mobility, automation, and smart manufacturing. Experiences like this highlight a key Student Horizons value — connecting students with real-world environments to better understand future career opportunities.

Building Confidence Beyond the Classroom

Beyond structured visits, the tour also focused on personal growth. Navigating Singapore’s MRT system allowed students to build confidence while experiencing how a highly efficient global city operates.

This balance of guided learning and real-world experience is what makes Student Horizons tours unique, giving students the tools to grow both academically and personally.

More Than Just a Tour

Alongside the educational experiences, students enjoyed unforgettable moments together. A river cruise through Marina Bay led into the city’s spectacular light show, while the Night Safari offered a unique wildlife experience after dark.

Gardens by the Bay showcased Singapore’s vision for the future, blending nature with innovation, and the Oceanarium guided tour provided another engaging learning experience.

The tour concluded with a day at Universal Studios — a chance to celebrate, connect, and reflect on an incredible journey.

The Student Horizons Difference

What sets Student Horizons apart is not just where students go, but how they experience it. Each element of the tour is intentionally designed to combine education, exploration, and personal growth.

The Kincoppal-Rose Bay Future Innovators Tour to Singapore was more than a trip — it was a transformative experience that empowered students to think bigger, aim higher, and see what’s possible for their future.
