Student Horizons helped organise the trip of a lifetime for our 42 Economics students. They were extremely supportive and provided excellent service for the two weeks we were in the USA. It was very reassuring to know that they were always there for support when any issues arose on the trip.

The staff and students of The Glennie School had an amazing cultural and sporting tour to Fiji organised by Student Horizons. Our students had fun, were always safe, it was well organised and having our own logistics director is a dream. Our goal was for our girls to have fun whilst playing sport as well as being immersed in the Fijian culture. The Village visits were a huge standout. Seeing the emotions of the Kindergarten Teacher when we gave them gifts was amazing! Something so little to us was life-changing for the village.

The Student Horizons team provided excellent service pre-departure and were on hand to provide logistical support as the tour progressed. They offered flexibility when changes to the itinerary were required and were in regular communication with the different tour providers to ensure the tour ran smoothly… Student Horizons staff have always been accommodating and flexible and a pleasure to work with.

It was a great experience and has given me the travel bug! I feel I was really able to experience the culture and had the opportunity to meet lots of people. I loved the variety of activities which seemed to include a bit of everything, from performing concerts, shopping, sight seeing, eating different foods and visiting different people. It was fun and I learnt a lot about the people and culture of China!
The experience was great as this tour allowed me to witness things that can not be taught in any history class. It gave me first hand experience into how things occurred and it allowed me to take the knowledge that I acquired and bring that into my class.

This tour was a life changing experience, i gained a different perspective on travelling and the whole trip ran smoothly. The different opportunities we were given was amazing resulting in this trip being a once in a lifetime experience.
The tour was very engaging and allowed me to experience an overseas culture. I feel the tour has educated me not only in football but the lifestyles of other countries. This is an experience that I would highly recommend for future students.
My trip to China was definitely something I will never forget as it allowed me to experience a whole new and exciting culture that I hadn’t really seen before. I also got the chance to see the perspective of someone’s everyday life in a different country, which really made me thankful for a lot of things which we have at home. I was also able to make a whole new group of friends in my tour group who I would have never spoken to if I wasn’t given the opportunity to.

Our students really benefited from this amazing pre-season tour in Europe. An amazing experience for the girls to see Hockey at its best. Fantastic games and coaching clinics as well as a nice mix of sightseeing and shopping. I would highly recommend this tour and would certainly book again… Certainly could not have organised this ourselves. Great to have local contacts on the ground in Europe. Standard of games was spot on and clubs visited were brilliant and they were incredibly happy for us to be there playing them and incredibly hospitable.
Jared was fantastic in every aspect! He was efficient and effective where necessary and got along well with staff and boys alike, a perfect tour companion. Student Horizons were responsible for Rathkeale College’s recent European Football tour and are to be highly commended for providing the boys and staff with an excellent experience on all fronts. Student Horizons is a company that I have been advocating for since my introduction to them last October. Within one week of making my initial enquiry, the company director, Mr Jamie Wansey travelled from New Zealand to Brisbane to meet with me directly and discuss the option of touring with Student Horizons. The Nudgee College rugby program had the pleasure of using the services of Student Horizons on our recent Fiji Rugby & Service Tour. Taking 40 young men away on an overseas trip can be quite daunting, particularly since we hadn’t toured in recent years, but with Student Horizons looking after us throughout the entire process, we knew we were in good hands. As the tour leader, I was even taken over to Fiji on an inspection tour with Student Horizons, to risk assess the trip, and ensure I was happy with all the elements of the itinerary. On behalf of the Padua Rugby Tour I would like to thank you for the once in a lifetime experience for the boys. From the Temple Bar to Rugby Club Versailles it was a full itinerary of great rugby, unbelievable culture and history and lots of laughs. Student Horizons made our trip manageable and achievable and saved the College a great deal of organisation. The cost also allowed many students to be able to afford this trip and it was value for money.
Student Horizons organised a good all round experience for our Ski Tour. A mix of cultural and extreme sport experience. We were very lucky with the snow and weather. Accommodation mix was comfortable and clean. Plenty of food for hungry skiers. Hire and collection of gear went without a hitch. Would definitely recommend the same tour to any school.
I can highly recommend Student Horizons to take any group on a tour. We travelled to Japan in April 2018 with a group of 25 rugby players and 3 staff. Student horizons allowed us to focus on training, playing and recovering for the duration of the tour and took care of all the daily requirements to prepare a high performance team thanks to their ability to arrange all travel logistics, meals and extra curricular activities. In addition to the professional service provided by Student Horizons both before and after the trip, Student Horizons were constantly available 24/7 to answer all questions and requests and assist in any potential minor emergency that we needed addressing throughout the entire trip. It was an amazing experience and made so easy by Student Horizons. We didn’t have to worry about minor details but could ensure the students were having a great time on their tour. Overall the tour was a great success with our performances and workshops resulting in our students eyes being opened to the vast array of education in China. We were welcomed by schools and communities from all walks of life and the students thoroughly enjoyed their interactions with the local children. From a music directors view there were often many obstacles dealing with the Chinese bureaucracy that we overcame with our Student Horizons rep Christian. We couldn’t have done it without him.

The service was brilliant, the staff were very professional throughout the whole process. The tour was well organised and flowed smoothly, the manual was an awesome working document that covered all of the required safety and day to day operations.
There were numerous highlights! – the programme was well designed, and a nice balance of activities. The workshops in particular were just fantastic. The students and staff bonded instantly with Suzy, and this really helped to make the tour a great success. Suzy was calm, organised, and easy to work with. We all enjoyed her in her role as tour guide. A fabulous experience overall, a well balanced programme, and a very high level of service both during the organisational phase and the execution of the trip.
Overall, our tour was fantastic. Kaitlin Reif did a great job guiding us through our very busy itinerary and was very accommodating when we made changes to meet our needs. She worked hard to keep all the girls safe and to make sure we made it to our many bookings on time.

Our students learned so much about the history of Hollywood and the film industry in general; the opportunity to see iconic film locations, tour film studios, and experience the wonders of the cultural side of life in LA added a special dimension to our experience. I found the service offered by Student Horizons to be very thorough, professional and responsive. Emails were responded to promptly and there was a real sense that our rep Jeannine and her colleagues were doing their best to meet our needs and make the tour everything it needed to be for the students. The trip itself was magnificent.
Our trip was incredible. The itinerary was so well put together- we were able to fit in so many things without it feeling overloaded. Student Horizons set us up with so much good information prior to the trip. The educational value of being on film sets, seeing behind the scenes of how TV shows are filmed, reading scripts from some of their favourite films and TV is beyond anything that can be done in the classroom. Some of the students have decided to work in the industry from what they experienced in this trip.
Communication is clear, nothing is ever an issue to change and or adapt… Well organised and your presentations to parents are always spot on – a nice mix between formalised but enough to make parents and student comfortable to want to attend.
