Canberra is an energetic city with a huge number of attractions, offering a diverse range of exciting school excursion education programs.
Our specific Civics & Citizenship School Canberra Tour is suitable for primary school grades 5 and 6, through to early high school year 7 to year 9, although can be adapted for older year elective levels. The school Canberra trip itinerary supports learning curriculum requirements by covering civics and citizenship, history and heritage, science, the environment, art and culture.
By visiting the national capital on a school excursion, students develop a deeper comprehension of the Australian political system and the way the country is governed.
The National War Memorial, is equally an important part of the tour where students can reflect on the commitments and camaraderie of Australians at war, fostering a deep sense of national pride.
Questacon, the National Science and Technology Centre, is always a highlight for the students. With over 200 hands-on exhibits in eight themed galleries, live science demonstrations, visitors of all ages are invited to touch, play and learn about the role of science in everyday life.
These tours are designed to be learn along side fun. Encouraging participation leading to experiential learning.
Depending on the month of travel, an exciting addition to our Canberra Tours is to incorporate a day or two in Sydney and/or a trip to the snow fields (seasonal). As many students have never had the opportunity to see snow before a trip to the snow is often a real highlight. A trip to the snow could be simply a day of fun and tobogganing – to professional group lessons (with snow equipment hire).
Canberra trips enhance the learning process of your young students, and create memories that last a lifetime!
Any time during school year
